At our New York English School we are dedicated to providing classes that teach English as a foreign or second language. We offer classes on English for Business Purposes, General English and English for Academic Purposes. All our classes are offered at varying intensities so you do not have to learn based on our schedule alone. Classes are held from morning until night and are useful for those that are beginning, intermediate or advanced speakers.

We understand that English is a language necessary to compete in the globalized business world and for youths looking to succeed in the United States. Our teachers are specialized in teaching English as a foreign language and will work with each individual to reach their personal goals. Our teachers are also well versed in American culture and are eager to help you assimilate to our English speaking country. Our teachers are also from many different cultural backgrounds, including those many of our students are from. They do not, in any way, discriminate based on race, religion, customs or language. Many of our teachers have experience with foreign languages and our students’ mother tongues. This allows them to teach with previous known languages in mind. This makes the process of teaching much easier as it allows them to mold lessons and English language rules from one language to English.

Our lesson plans focus on the functions of language; speaking, writing, reading and listening. These functions will help foreign language speakers to integrate into American society and will be extremely useful in daily life. We understand that everyone has different needs in coming to our New York English School as well, and we will help you along the whole way. Not only is our school a place to learn English, but also to socialize and be comfortable among many like minded people. Our teachers are also qualified to give help and advice on information that new citizens need to survive in America like visa questions, finding an apartment and finding employment. Our teachers are also available for private lessons if needed. We offer affordable and flexible classes with our certified teachers and only the industry-best resources to make sure that our students succeed.

UCEDA SCHOOL’s mission is to provide student-centered English language programs and services to a diverse international and local student population.

Our main goal is to equip students with the English language skills and cultural awareness needed to help them lead more productive lives and/or pursue higher education in the United States and in a globalizing world.
